The primary is a week away. The TU chimes in on the race. Of the five democrats running two used to be Republicans. Doesn't say much for the Republican brand these days.

I don't expect to post much until after the first week in November. One way or the other, things will be very different then concerning all things political.

For the best information on the race in the 21st, go to The Albany Project.

Have a good two months.

Darius Worked for the NYS Senate Republican Majority for a number of years after law school in the mid 90's.  Brooks was a Clifton Park Republican and Sullivan was the GOP Albany chair.

Anybody Notice LeFred's About Face? (none / 0) (#2)

In May, columnist Fred LeBrun, the TU's resident know-it-all cynic, proudly proclaimed Tracey Brooks so far ahead of the pack that Miss Tracey decided to include a quote from his column on all of her palm cards, now littered about the City of Albany with profound carelessness.

His Sunday column's title?  "No Clear Leader In Race."

Should we all chip in a get LeFred some new flip flops?  I wonder.

:-)

Can you update us on the state of the Steck campaign or any of the others?

Robert Harding has been posting front page round-ups for the NY-21 campaign.  Unfortunately, my State of the Race series had to end sooner than expected, as boots on the ground are needed for the David Weiss for State Senate primary campaign.  But the wraps ups he's been doing are just as excellent.

I will also make not predictions as to who wins.  I just hope that Phil Steck becomes our next Congressman.
